A Few Reasons Why I Choose to End My Education at Kampala International University

It was an experience that made me think about whether it is the right decision to continue on my Bachelor’s degree at Kampala International University. There are several reasons why I choose to finish up my studies at this university.

First of all, I have thought about practical reasons for ending my education. I have received many offers to work as a tutor in Kampala and other cities in Uganda. The job itself can bring good salary but it also requires good communication skills and a good working condition.

I am no longer interested in working in such an environment. While I appreciate the humanitarian aid that this university is doing in Uganda, I do not like people who take advantage of needy people. I am glad that my decision is helping to make their lives better, but it makes me feel really sorry for them.

Also, the chance to study and work in a place where the people are in the majority is something I think makes this International University special. This makes Kampala a very good place to live in. It is a city that you can trust. You can walk anywhere, attend your classes and be assured that you will be safe.

I have always appreciated learning and lecturing in schools but I never really understood why people should pay hundreds of dollars just to be a part of an education system. I have heard people saying that the money spent on this university is just like what you would spend in a private school. This makes me wonder how the World Bank manages to afford such a high tuition fee.

With the entry of the University of Kampala, it will now become possible for the more than thirty thousand students of Kampala to complete their education without having to leave their homes. While this is great news for these people, I believe that it will cause great inconvenience to families who need to earn money in order to send their children to this university.

Despite the differences between a private school and a Kampala International University, there are many similarities. These include the involvement of technology, improved relations with other universities and an opportunity to increase your knowledge and understanding. All these things make Kampala International University one of the best places to study.

However, I believe that it is time for me to start thinking about a new career. Now that I am done with my education, I just want to continue on my path and achieve my goal of becoming a qualified doctor. What is for sure is that I will miss studying in Kampala.
